“We don’t have money for doctors’ fees, moreso, for medicines.” These are the common words of Filipinos living in
impoverished communities. Operating under the principle that health care is a basic human right, iCare created a
team of medical professionals who can deliver quality medical care to areas of malnutrition, natural disaster,
epidemics and poverty-stricken communities.
Goal:
To bridge the gap between the disadvantaged and medical groups through direct street outreach and
engagement with the objective of linking them with a primary medical home.
